As stated in the answer above there are many variables
concerning the death that determine the length of the
grief process. While the is nothing that we can do change
those circumstances there are several behaviors and practices
that can enhance the healing process. Many people find that
the more they are able to talk about their loved one and their
grief, the quicker they get through their pain. It is important
that the bereaved find a friend, relative, pastor or counselor who
will allow them to verbalize their loss and pain. Other therapeutic
activities include regular exercise and keeping a journal of feelings
and experiences during the grieving process.
